August 6 – Arsenal and Emirates have reloaded one of football’s longest-running commercial partnerships through to 2033, keeping the airline’s branding across the shirts, training wear and stadium of the Premier League champions.
The renewal will see Emirates continue as Arsenal’s front-of-shirt sponsor, training kit partner and stadium naming rights holder for a further seven years, after they first joined forces in 2006, when the club left Highbury for the newly built Emirates Stadium.
Their relationship remains the Premier League’s longest-running front-of-shirt partnership.
No financial terms have been disclosed, but given the club’s new status as England’s top dog, it is likely to grow from the £60million existing deal.
The extension follows Arsenal’s long-awaited Premier League title triumph and secures long-term stability around three of the club’s most valuable commercial assets.
Existing initiatives including the Emirates Cup – Arsenal’s annual pre-season tournament not to be confused with the similarly-named Emirates FA Cup – and the ‘Global Gooners’ scheme, which brings international supporters to north London, will continue under the renewed agreement.
Arsenal chief executive Richard Garlick said: “Winning the title gives us the opportunity to be more ambitious and build on where we are today. Our renewal reflects a shared belief in Arsenal’s future and a shared determination to keep moving forward. The best partnerships, like the best teams, never stand still. Together, we’ll continue to challenge and build on the strong foundations we have built together, with the confidence and ambition that our greatest achievements still lie ahead.”
Emirates Airline president Sir Tim Clark said: “Over the last two decades, Emirates and Arsenal have built something that goes far beyond a traditional partnership, and one we are immensely proud of.
“Very few partnerships in the world of sport can claim foundations like these. What comes next is building on that strength for the millions of Arsenal supporters who carry this club with them wherever they are, in every corner of the world, and we could not be more excited about the history we will make together in the years to come.”
The next chapter of the partnership will begin this weekend when Arsenal host Borussia Dortmund in the Emirates Cup. Clark is expected to attend alongside members of the club’s senior leadership team as part of the anniversary celebrations.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
