September 7 – UEFA will hold tributes for victims of the devastating flash floods in Nepal ahead of every Champions League match this week.
Players and officials will observe a moment of silence before kick-off, while a banner carrying the message “You are not alone Nepal” will be displayed inside stadiums across the competition.
The gesture follows the floods which struck Nepal on August 26, leaving communities across the country dealing with the aftermath of the disaster. Around 1,311 are now confirmed dead, with more than 5,000 people still missing.
Nepalis observed a national day of mourning for the victims of the flash flood on Monday, lighting candles to mark the last day of the traditional 13-day Hindu mourning period.
UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin said: “The entire European football family will stand together before this week’s matches to express our deepest condolences and our support to the people of Nepal. We wish them strength and resilience as they continue to recover from this tragedy and its aftermath.”

The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
